Wayne A. Koch

Wayne A. Koch,64, of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at his home. Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Yvonne M. (Bower) Koch.

Born January 10, 1961, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Grant J. Koch, Sr. and Iva V. Grimes (Koch).

Wayne was a graduate of the Williamsport Area High School. A man of great skill and work ethic, Wayne was the proud owner and operator of A + Appliance, a business that not only served the community but also stood as a testament to his hard work and ingenuity. Wayne's hands were rarely still, as he found joy in tinkering on appliances and solving problems for his customers. His dedication to his craft was evident to all who knew him, and his ability to fix just about anything became a source of pride. Wayne's commitment to providing for his family was unwavering, and he worked tirelessly to ensure they had everything they needed.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his two children Deanna Y. (Koch) Wheeland and Brett M. Koch both of Williamsport; a granddaughter EllaMarie Wheeland; four brothers Steven L. Koch (Beverly) of Scranton, Keith M. Koch (Jeanne) of Williamsport, Kevin M. Koch of Williamsport, Wade E. Tilburg (Patricia) of Cogan Station; a sister Lori A. Berninger of Williamsport; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Gerald L. “Jerry” Koch, Craig A. Koch, and Grant J. “Jimmy” Koch, Jr.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
