Victor Livermore Jr. Obituary

Victor S. "Vic" Livermore Jr., 81, of Trout Run, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 12, 2020, at his home surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lorraine (Shepard) Livermore.


Born Sept. 11, 1938 in Cogan Station, he was son of the late Victor S. Sr. and Mildred (Hammerstein) Livermore.
 

Vic retired from Textron after 32 years of service as a machinist. He was a member of Steam Valley Bible Church. Vic enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and working on tractors. He loved the Lord, had extensive bible knowledge, and especially enjoyed spending time with family. His mellow, sweet personality will be missed by all who knew him.
 

Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Marlene J. Hughes (Earl) of Trout Run, Daniel B. Livermore (Janet) of Unityville, Denise M. Trick (Dennis) of Montoursville, and Bonnie K. Trick (David) of Muncy; two sisters, Delores Remick of Trout Run, and Beverly Paulhamus of Georgia; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren on the way.
 

In addition to his parents, Vic was preceded in death by a sister, Martha English, and two brothers, Francis and Samuel Livermore.
 

A graveside service to honor the life of Victor will be held 1 p.m. Monday, March 16, at Steam Valley Cemetery, Trout Run.
