Vicki E. Smith

    Vicki E. Smith,57, of Linden, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. Surviving is her loving and devoted husband, Mark A. Smith, with whom they would have celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on October 27.

    Born on February 25, 1966, in Williamsport, she was the cherished daughter of Clair L. and Lois I. (Lovell) Waltz.

    Vicki was a 1984 graduate of the Williamsport Area High School. She worked for several years at Kentucky Fried Chicken, and attended the former Pine Run United Methodist Church.

    Vicki's love for her family was boundless, and she was a devoted mother to her three children, Carissa M., Kelsey L., and Rylee P. Smith. Her children were her entire world, and she nurtured them with a love that was both profound and unconditional. Vicki was also a loving sister to Dennis C. Waltz of Jersey Shore and cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.

    A celebration of Vicki’s life will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 7 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport.
