Timothy H. Scott

Timothy H. “Tim” Scott, 76, of Williamsport passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years Marie E. Scott on June 13, 2022.

Born June 11, 1950 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Harry B. Scott and Martha E. (Motter) Waltz.

Tim graduated from Fallbrook High School in California where he played football and wrestled. He went on to work as a heavy equipment operator and electrician.

Tim was an avid golfer having played many rounds at White Deer Golf Course. He also enjoyed fishing from his boats on the river or at Rose Valley Lake. Most of all, Tim loved spending time with his family and friends and always addressed everyone as "Babe". His love and generosity will be missed by all those who were close to him.

Tim is survived by two children, Michelle S. McClain (Michael) of Cogan Station, and Timothy A. Scott of Williamsport; five grandchildren, John McClain (Caitlin), Marc McClain (Megan), Allison McClain, Jordan Scott, and Sawyer Scott; seven great-grandchildren, Eli, Kylie, Josie, Jake, Archie and Audie McClain and Ellie; brother, Randy Scott(Carrie); sister, Carol Morehart (Tim) and brother-in-law, Dave Henry.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bernie Scott and sister, Marcie Henry.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
