Timothy R. "Tim" Hohl, better known as Timmy, TIM HOHL, Opa, Dadio, and Scooter Dad, of Williamsport, passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Born June 29, 1960, in Abington, he was a son of the late Robert W. and Edna L. (Hicks) Hohl.
Tim was a graduate of New Hope-Solebury High School. He continued his education at Geneva College before transferring to Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Tim retired from Prysmian, formerly known as General Cable, where he worked for many years as a material handler.
Tim was an avid camper, fisherman, and golfer. His passion for cooking was another way he expressed his love for his family, often bringing them together around the dinner table to share in his delicious creations. He was especially known for his yearly clambakes at the cabin. Tim was the life of any get together, always having a smile and a great story to share. He was genuine, and caring. Most of all Tim loved spending time with his daughter and grandchildren and watching the Eagles game with his son-in-law. Tim will be best remembered for his kind heart and love for his family.
Desperately missing him are his daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline and Alec Eggerton of South Williamsport, along with his cherished grandchildren Maezie and Blaize; his two brothers and their wives, Kenneth and Janice Hohl of Mount Airy, MD, and David and Rose Hohl of New Holland; and his best friend and cousin Stewart Frey along with his wife Kathy of Murrells Inlet, SC.
One last inside joke: Ken Hohl, it was a father-son clock, not father-son-brother clock.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 10th at Northway Community Church, 1680 4 Mile Drive, Williamsport, followed by light refreshments and fellowship.
Memorial contributions may be made in Tim’s name to American Rescue Workers 643 Elmira Street Williamsport, PA 17701.
