Stanley E. Jacobs

Stanley E. Jacobs, 80, of Williamsport, died Monday, December 29, 2025 at Haven Place in Lock Haven.

Born, August 15,1945 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Harry and Anna Belle Moore Jacobs.

Stan was a 1963 Graduate of Williamsport High School. He attended W.A.C.C for two years and received a degree in business from Lycoming College in 1972.

Stan served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked for Brodart and was also the owner and operator of Paul’s Korner Market in Newberry.

Surviving are his siblings, Harry Jacobs III (Marlene) of South Carolina, Clyde “Mike” Jacobs of Williamsport, Richard M. Jacobs (Nancy) of Williamsport, Deborah L. Doebler of Williamsport, Rebecca A. Horn of Watsontown and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Stan was preceded in death by his wife, Holly M. Jacobs; a sister, Jean E. Jacobs; a sister-in-law, Barbara Jacobs and a brother-in-law, Allen L. Horn, Jr.

A funeral service to honor the life of Stan will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January, 6th at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Avenue with his nephew, Pastor David Jacobs, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Stan's name may be made to Saint John’s-Newberry United Methodist Church, Raise the Roof Fund, 2101 Newberry Street, Williamsport, PA 17701, or a local church of one’s choice.
