Selena I. (Spotts) Rodriguez

Selena I. Rodriguez,62, of Avis passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born January 12, 1959, in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter of the late Raymond C. and Sara L. (Young) Spotts.

Selena was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School. She was a hard worker all her life but most recently was employed at the Community Service Group as a home health aide and was previously employed at the Jersey Shore VFW and Hope Enterprises Inc. Selena enjoyed going to bingo, drawing, and crocheting. Most of all Selena loved raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her five children Beth A. Roberts of Trout Run, Luke Anderson of Williamsport, Jennifer M. Griffin of New York, Gerald R. Griffin (Laurie) of Tennessee, and Robert L. Griffin, III (Kristie) of Cogan Station; ten grandchildren; three brothers Jimmy Spotts of Jersey Shore, Randy Spotts (Rachel) of Renovo, and Raymond Spotts (Lori) of Trout Run; and a sister Molly Wall (Brett) of Trout Run.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law Thomas W. Roberts, III.

A memorial service to honor the life of Selena will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, December 4 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of service.
