Sandra Losieniecki Obituary

Sandra E. (Bastian) Losieniecki, 83, of Cogan Station died Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg surrounded by her family.

Born August 6, 1935 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Jacob H. and Hazel E. Weis Bastian.

Sandra attended school in Dayton, Ohio where she was a student of dance (ballet). Many of her fondest memories were from Dayton. She graduated from Williamsport High School. She was a homemaker who loved her family very much. She had a deep faith in the Lord which she instilled in her children.

Sandra was an avid gardener and loved nature, animals and especially dogs. She enjoyed all forms of art including painting, poetry, music, reading and dancing. Sandra cherished the time she spent at her cottage and with her family.

Surviving are her children, Catherine Douglas (Ray) of Milton, Robert J. Jr. (Angela) of Brackettville, TX, Elizabeth Wertz (Andrew) of New Columbia, Daniel S. of Williamsport and Jon M. (Laura) of Hollywood, Fla.; grandchildren, Elijah, Aaron, and R. Alexander Losieniecki and Emily N. Wertz; great grandchildren, Rylan and Mason Losieniecki, a brother, David Bastian of Mich.; nieces and nephews, Jenny and Mark Reisner, Janice, David, Jr. Rebecca, and Hannah Bastian all of Mich.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Robert J. Losieniecki, and two sisters, Dolores Millard and Diana Getz.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Wildwood Cemetery.
