Roy A. Hudson

Roy A. Hudson,79, of Williamsport, died Friday, January 6, 2023 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Frances E. (Packer) Hudson on March 5, 2020.

Born February 25, 1943, he was a son of the late Floyd W. and Ethel (Fuge Hall) Hudson.

Roy was a member of Fairlawn Community Church. He retired from Lonza where he was referred to as “Scoop” or “Rock”. He was an avid hunter and golfer.

Surviving are two daughters, Lori Lynn Parker of Williamsport and Stacey Jo Michaels (Jarrod) of Bloomsburg; four grandchildren Jeramie Parker (Danielle), Shayna Rovenolt (Jason), Konner and Karter Michaels; three great grandchildren Devon and Ronin Parker and Jaisa Rovenolt; and a son-in-law Roger Hanner of Williamsport.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Ann Hanner, an infant daughter Marcie Marie Hudson, and son-in-law Michael Parker.

A graveside service to honor the life of Roy will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 16 in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
