Robyn L. Douglass, 66, of Williamsport, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, March 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Robyn was born on May 16, 1959, in Williamsport, to the late Richard C. and Ann M. (Sennett) Emerick. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1977, and on October 14, 1977, she married her soulmate and high school sweetheart Randy A. Douglass. Together they built a family founded on the principles of love, faith, and joy.
Robyn considered her greatest achievement to be the life she nurtured at home as a devoted mom and grandmother. Along with her loving husband of 48 wonderful years, she also leaves behind two daughters, Jamie Dietrich (Neil) and Amber Swiderski (Mike), five remarkable grandchildren: Luke, Jake, Abby, Conner, and Brooke. Affectionately known as "Monna" and "Nonna," Robyn's eyes twinkled with immeasurable love and pride every time she saw her grandkids. Also to cherish her memory, three brothers, Richard L. Emerick (Sue), Ronald C. Emerick (Jackie), and Randy G. Emerick, as well as her best friend Ronna Hill, whom her daughters consider an honorary aunt, and many loving nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Robyn was predeceased by her sisters, Renee L. Pfleegor and Faith A. Emerick.
Robyn was a beacon of goodness, always seeing a need and selflessly filling it, often delighting in the simple joy of shopping for others. Her creativity shone brightly in her thrifting and repurposing finds for scrapbooking and decorating, making every moment and memory with her family uniquely beautiful. Cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events and camping trips to Sheshequin Buckskinners were among their most treasured times spent together. Her loving, thoughtful legacy will continue on in her beautiful family and in the hearts of those she touched.
In keeping with Robyn’s wishes, there will be no services.
