She was famous there for her Bingo skills and card-playing abilities. Roberta was currently participating in PEER training at Embassy and was loved by the staff and residents there.

Roberta was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Williamsport, and was a regular attendee at the Wednesday First Night dinners as well as the First Friends Bible study. She was also connected with Pine Street United Methodist Church, including enjoying the singles’ dances there for many years. Roberta had a strong Christian faith and did not hesitate to tell others about the love of Jesus. She especially enjoyed joining the choir to sing the Hallelujah chorus each Easter.

In addition to her parents, Roberta was predeceased by her husband Teddy, sisters Joanne Nittinger and Barbara Harris, brother John Donald Burd, and sister-in-law Irene Burd.
Roberta is survived by her brother-in-law Neal Nittinger of Keiser, Oregon and numerous nephews and nieces.
