Robert “Bob” W. Mull, 98, of Jersey Shore, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Virginia “Ginger” (Davis) Mull.
Born on September 4, 1925, in Laquin, PA, he was a son of the late Earl and Minnie Mull. Bob was retired from Avco, where he worked for 31 years as a machinist. He enjoyed gardening, watching NASCAR, and proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Bob loved to tinker and build, especially with his brother-in-law Jim, both of them repairing anything they could salvage for free. He was a member of Phelps Chapel United Methodist Church, and the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Surviving are his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sylvia and James “Jim” Davis, Jr; a niece, Bonnie Bardo and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He loved his furbabies Speedway, Nicky, and Mandy, and his cats, who were all named Kit Cat.
Along with his parents and wife, Bob was also preceded in death by his son, Robert J. Mull; two daughters, Jane Louise Mull and Kathryn Lee Mull; two brothers, Truman W. Mull and John Mull; five sisters, JoAnn Mull, Phyllis Little, Iva Keiser, Mildred Woodring, and Gladys White.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Twin Hills Memorial Park.
