Robert Charles "Bob" Stout

Robert Charles “Bob” Stout, 70, of Williamsport, passed away after an unexpected illness on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at UPMC Williamsport.

Born on July 20, 1953, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Harold C. and Irene D. (Steinbacher) Stout.

Bob graduated from South Williamsport High School and continued his education at Williamsport Area Community College where he earned an associate degree in business. He held several employment positions in his career, before retiring in 2013 as a supervisor with ABF Trucking Company. Bob was a reserved man who enjoyed relaxing. If he wasn’t gathering with his family, you could find him kicked back watching an old Western on TV or listening to music. He also liked playing video games and had a huge heart for animals, especially cats.

Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory four siblings, Yvonne Schley of Camp Hill, John Stout (Sharon) of Williamsport, Jim Stout (Nancy) of South Williamsport, and David Stout (Missy) of Maine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his beloved cat Tinkerbell.

In keeping with Bob’s wishes, there will be no services held.
