Robert Eugene "Bobby" Huyck

Robert" Bobby" Eugene Huyck, 89 of South Williamsport, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the Williamsport Home.

Born November 15, 1935 in Williamsport, he was the son of Robert P. Huyck and the former Jean E. Coleman Flanagan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wives Marilyn (Joy) Miller Huyck (1990) and Elizabeth (Betty) Manz Huyck (2024) and a sister Doris Mae Huyck Schelb (2025).

He was a resident of South Williamsport. Robert worked and eventually co-owned the family construction company the former Huyck Brothers Builders and Be'Daro Estates, Inc. He was a life member of Independent Fire Company #1 where he was Chief for many years, serving as South Williamsport Borough Fire Chief several times. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #707 and the Zafar Grotto Club. Robert enjoyed playing and watching baseball and football, also boating, golf, hunting, snowmobiling and traveling.

He is survived by siblings, stepsister, Barbara Schrawder, David Huyck (Holly), Patty Flanagan (John), Maureen Flanagan, Mary Flanagan and Cathy Flanagan; stepson, John Manz (Sharon) and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

The interment at Wildwood Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. The family plans to have a celebration of life for Robert and Doris. Information will be announced at a later date.
