"Red" James E. Fullerton, 84, of Linden, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020, at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport.
Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Alice D. (Brooks) Fullerton.
Born Aug. 11, 1935, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late William F. and Margaret M. (Rinker) Fullerton. He retired from AVCO after more than 30 years of service. Red enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Carl C. Russell (Linda), of Houston Texas, Deborah C. Smith (Tim), of Watsontown, and Noel C. Russell (Tammy), of Jersey Shore; 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; 15 nieces and nephews; and a brother, Ronald R. Fullerton, of Williamsport.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard, and two sisters, Carol and Sylvia.
A funeral service to honor the life of Red will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Burial will follow in State Road Cemetery. A viewing will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday Feb. 23, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
