Raymond E. Sheleman

Raymond Eugene Sheleman, 68, of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at his home. On February 12, 2001 he married his loving wife and best friend of 24 years, Michelle D. (Selders) Sheleman.

Born June 19, 1956, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Charles E. Sheleman, Jr. and Helen (Dgien) Sheleman.

Raymond attended the Williamsport Area High School. He formerly was employed at Shop-Vac and worked at Hon Industries for 25 years before retiring from UPMC Williamsport as a custodian.

Raymond enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles and drinking Coors Light.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son Chad Sheleman; step-son Alan Oliver, Jr. (Sarah); three grandsons Karter, Sawyer, and Damien; siblings Pat McKee (Larry), Joyce Simmons (Ed), Robert (Carol), Ronald, Richard (Ellen) and Stephen Sheleman; sister-in-law’s Krystal and Cheryl (Ed); father and mother-in-law Edward and Sheila Wettlaufer; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers William, Charles, and George Sheleman and a sister Stephanie Sheleman.

A service will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 7 in the chapel at Wildwood Cemetery.
