Randolph A. "Randy" Weaver, 59, of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday February 5, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Surviving is his loving wife of 40 years, Robyn G. (Collins) Weaver.
Born October 29, 1965, in Williamsport, he was a son of James L. Weaver and the late Carol (Grimm) Weaver.
A proud graduate of Williamsport Area High School, Randy's work ethic was evident early on. He began his career at Bethlehem Wire Rope and dedicated 35 years of service to the company, demonstrating loyalty and commitment. Meanwhile, Randy was a former EMT at the Old Lycoming Volunteer Fire Company.
He was a member of the former Trinity United Methodist Church, Hillside Rod and Gun Club, Blossburg VFW Post 8730, American Legion Morris Run, and Harmonia Club. His interests were diverse and passionate; from hunting in the great outdoors to cheering on NASCAR races, and from supporting the Pittsburgh Steelers to enjoying a good game of baseball. However, it was his role as a family man that Randy valued above all else. Being a father to his three sons was not just a part of his life; it was his life's greatest joy.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father are three sons, Randy A. Weaver (Laurie) of Ashtabula, OH, Zebulon Weaver (Ranae) of Conneaut, OH, and Zachary T. Weaver of Ashtabula, OH; five adoring grandchildren, Mason, James, Jacob, Owen, and Olivia; two brothers, Craig Livermore (Nikki) of Altoona and James L. Weaver (Heather) of Lansdale; and a sister, Susan Weaver (Leonard Elliott) of Halstead.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepmother Dora Weaver, and his brother Brian Livermore.
A visitation to honor the life of Randy will be held from 4 - 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 11 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport.
