Paul E. Chapman, 87, of Cogan Station, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Valley View Rehab and Nursing Center.
Born on April 23, 1939, in Warrensville, he was a son of the late Roy and Florence (Rudy) Chapman. Paul attended Montoursville High School and spent many years before retirement, working as a mechanic for Fork Lift, Inc. Faith was an important part of Paul’s life, and he attended Fairlawn Community Church. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, tinkering, and caring for chickens, especially his beloved Rodney the Rooster.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen L. Chapman, and they would have celebrated 67 years of marriage this July 18, 2026. He also leaves behind his children, Roger A. Chapman (Patty Jo), Jeanette M. Earnest (Adam), Barbara L. Lipp (Andrew), and Brenda L. Hampton (Jeffrey); 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Naomi Haire and Marion Campbell. Along with his parents, Paul was also preceded in death by his brother Kenny Chapman, and sister Betty Lahn.
Services to honor Paul’s life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
