Patricia Rae (Williams) "Pat" Straka

Patricia Rae (Williams) Straka, died on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, the 60th anniversary of her marriage to her beloved husband, Larry J. Straka, who survives.

Born July 25, 1944, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Margaret (Dewan) and Raymond Williams Sr.

Pat was a graduate of St Joseph’s High School, class of 1962. Pat bravely returned to the classroom as an adult, before it was common, attending Lycoming College in the mid-1980s. She had a keen intellect, boundless curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. A skilled gardener, Pat could be found most springs and summers cheerfully planting and tending her garden, with amiable assistance from Larry.

Pat is also survived by her three children, Christopher Straka (Darcy) of Lancaster, Victoria Stillman (Kim Andrews) of Williamsport, and Jennifer Straka of Cogan Station; her brother, David E. Williams of Hilton Head, Sc.; eight grandchildren, including Jordan Young, with whom she shared a special bond; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Larry’s parents, Joseph and Marcella Straka, and by her brother, Raymond Williams Jr. (Dow).

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Wildwood Cemetery.
