Mary Louise (Munsell) Yarrison, 98, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 14, 2025, at Valley View Nursing Center, where she had resided since 2023. Mary shared 51 years of marriage with her late husband, Crawford Yarrison, who had awaited her in his heavenly home since Feb. 13, 1999. They were members of Williamsport Assembly of God Church.
They were the parents of three daughters, the first two of which entered eternity, Linda Mayers (Gary) in 2023 and Janice Mitchley (Robert) in 1998. Their third daughter, Lori Stalter (Stan) resides in Reading, PA. Mary was affectionately called Gram by Michele Crawford (Jim), Lisa Young (John), Jeffrey Mayers (Amy), Daniel Mayers, Darrin Mitchley (Krista), Krista Porter (Drew), Kara Grijincu (Paul), and Jeremy Stalter. She was blessed with great grandchildren Seth, Alyssa, Taylor, Lexi, McKenna, Adonijah, Obadiah, Maverick, Kyla, Aceson, Theodore, and Kariana, and great-great grandchildren Ava, Maxum, Mila, Cade, Lawson, Vera, and Blake. Two additional grandchildren, Erin and Nehemiah Stalter, entered heaven in 1987.
Mary was born on July 25, 1926, and graduated from Williamsport High School in 1944. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Georgianna (Snyder) Munsell. Her sister, Joan Smith, resides in Williamsport. Her brothers Clyde, Walter, Donald, and Lee Munsell preceded her in death.
Mary’s strong Christian faith greatly influenced her life, love of family, and her moral convictions. Her life focused around her commitment to her family, as she always extended her time, generosity, prayers, a listening ear and even some advice. She enjoyed keeping up on the latest news by reading the Sun Gazette from cover to cover, watching Fox news, and talking to friends and family.
Burial will be private. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a future date.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mary to Williamsport Assembly of God Church, 1230 Sherman Street, Williamsport, PA.
Mary’s greatest desire would be that all would attend the most glorious of celebrations in Heaven by choosing to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and worship Him together, forever.
