Mary Stacer Obituary

     Mary C. Stacer, 69, of Williamsport, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at her home. Surviving is her loving and devoted husband of 46 years, Gene C. Stacer.

     Born February 10, 1950, in Blossburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert S. and Christine (Pattison) Cocks.

     Mary was a 1968 graduate of Williamsport High School and received her bachelors of physical education degree from Lock Haven University in 1972. Mary retired as a school bus driver.
Mary enjoyed playing pickleball. She regularly volunteered in many community activities with her husband. She was an active member of Christian Church of Cogan Station, along with Vero Beach Christian Church. She traveled frequently and always looked forward to spending winters in Florida.

     In addition to her husband surviving are her children, Amber Quick and husband, Nate, of Bangkok, Thailand and their four sons, Benjamin, Isaiah, Malachi and Ezra, along with Roberta Stacer, of Lebanon; and a sister, Helen McCourt Simpson, of Fort Mill, South Carolina.

     A memorial celebration will be held on 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at Christian Church of Cogan Station, 5904 Lycoming Creek Road, Cogan Station, followed by a picnic lunch. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at Christian Church of Cogan Station.
