Mary M. Puderbaugh

Mary M. Puderbaugh, 56, of Williamsport, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at The Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital. She was born on May 8, 1970, in Williamsport, and throughout her life she carried with her the warmth, strength, and kindness that touched the hearts of many who knew her.

Mary was the beloved daughter of Wayne J. Wilk, Sr. and Mary Kathryn (Green) Wilk. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Tori and Lacie Puderbaugh, and she also lovingly embraced her family through adoption as the mother of Jherica Dease and Mayson Dease. She is also survived by her three step-sons, Scott Dease, Jr. (Alexis), Dalton Dease (Chelsea), and Jesse Dease. Mary found great joy in her grandson, Jaelen Allen, and she cherished the special time she was able to share with him before her passing. She is also survived by her brother, Wayne J. Wilk, Jr. Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Puderbaugh, and her second husband, Scott Dease.

Mary graduated from Williamsport Area High School and later completed her education at Empire Beauty School. She built a career doing what she loved as a cosmetologist, and through hard work and dedication she grew her profession into management. She took pride in her work and in the relationships she formed along the way, and was known for the care and attention she gave to others.

Mary was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and valued the fellowship and faith she found there. She enjoyed going to the beach, especially Wildwood, New Jersey, and its boardwalk, holding a special place in her heart each year. She also enjoyed trips to Disneyworld and cruises, and she found happiness in soaking in the outdoor sun.

Services to honor Mary’s life will be held privately.
