Marie C. Cole, 69, of Cogan Station, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at her home. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Michael A. "Mike" Cole on February 9, 2024.
Born April 30, 1955, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late James and Sarah (Sechrist) Kitchen.
Marie graduated from Loyalsock Township High School. She retired from Glamorise Foundation Inc. after more than 30 years of employment.
Marie enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and camping. She also enjoyed playing shuffleboard and bowling in a women's league at Harvest Moon Bowling Lanes.
Surviving are three children Echo L. Tawney (Jerry) of Williamsport, Amanda J. Cole (Dan Donella) of Avis, and Paul M. Cole (Elizabeth) of Williamsport; eight grandchildren Tricia, J.T., James, Jordan, Chevelle, Kolton, Natalie, and Calvin; two great-grandchildren Lakota and Hunter; two brothers Kevin Kitchen (Melody) and Darren Kitchen (Tara) both of Roaring Branch; a sister Sharon Kitchen of Loyalsock; many nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; her soul sister Bonnie Weller; and beloved cat Walter.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Allan Kitchen.
In keeping with her wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
