Margaret H. (Lundy) Breish

     Margaret H. Breish,80, of Williamsport, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Breish on November 1, 2018.

     Born August 12, 1942, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Matthew D. and Helen M. (Stiger) Lundy.

     Margaret worked as a nurses aid at the former Williamsport Hospital for more than 30 years.

     Margaret better known as Aunt Margaret was known as the fun aunt whether it was sleepovers at her house that involved much more music and dancing than sleep, or trip to Knoebels with her little car packed with kids from front seat to back window ledge, to her infamous six-hour McDonald tips. Aunt Margaret truly loved her many nieces and nephews just like her own.

     Surviving are her children Troy C. Breish of Williamsport and Holly J. Breish (Wayne Neufer) of Montoursville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, with identical twin boys on the way; a brother Clarence Lundy (Leulla) of Williamsport; and several nieces and nephews.

     In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a companion Robert; two brothers Edward and Matthew Lundy; four sisters Grace Cohick, Mabel McCloskey, Betty Connacher, and Lois Collins; a nephew, Matthew Lundy; and two nieces, Patty Knapp and Amy Cohick.

     A celebration of Aunt Margaret’s life will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
