Letha Beach Paulhamus, 99, of Williamsport, passed peacefully into heaven on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at the Williamsport Home.
Born August 7, 1925, in Hepburnville, she was a daughter of the late Boyd and Samantha (Metzger) Beach.
Letha was a graduate of Hepburnville High School. After her schooling, she dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and was a faithful member of State Road United Methodist Church.
Letha married the love of her life, Robert Paulhamus, who preceded her in death in 2002. Together, they shared a life full of love, adventure, and service. Letha's spirit of generosity and compassion was evident in the mission trips she embarked on with Bob, including meaningful journeys to Florida after Hurricane Andrew and to Israel, experiences that enriched her life and the lives of those she served.
Letha's legacy continues through her family, who were the center of her world. She is survived by her son, Richard E. Paulhamus (Laurie) of Bonita Springs, FL; daughter, Nancy P. Menne (Gary) of Linden; three grandchildren Derek Knipe (Shelby) of Mill Hall, Casey Knipe (Ann) of Linden, and Ryan Paulhamus (Lauren) of Shoreline, WA; and eight great-grandchildren Landon, Ava, Addison, Adam, Asher, Ally Knipe, and Riordan and Emmett Paulhamus.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Letha being the last of her immediate family.
A funeral service to honor Letha’s life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 10 at State Road United Methodist Church 6738 Daughertys Run Rd, Cogan Station. Burial will follow in State Road Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at State Road United Methodist Church.
The family will provide flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Letha’s name to the State Road United Methodist Church, Attn: Darlene Smith, 2079 State Route 973 W, Cogan Station, PA 17728.
