Lavern Wernett Obituary

Lavern L. Wernett, 83, of Williamsport, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Manor Care Health Services North.

Born August 26, 1937, in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Lavern C. Wernett, and Pauline E. (Sefing) Wernett.

Lavern was a 1955 graduate of Liberty High School and attended Pennsylvania State University. He retired as a golf course supervisor. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially loved his fishing.

Surviving are his children Randall S. Wernett (Mary), of Bethlehem and Lisa Wernett (Kai Ihringer) , of Gillette, N.J.; grandchildren Jamie Wernett, Joshua Ehrig, Katherine Ihringer and Lukas Ihringer. He is also survived by a brother Lamont Wernett of Quakertown.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no services.

Memorial contributions may be made in Lavern’s name to the local SPCA.
