Kimberly Ann Lusk, 61, of Williamsport, a vibrant soul known for her sassy yet kindhearted nature, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, at Geisinger of Danville. Born on September 13, 1964, Kimberly's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and the simple joys that make a life well-lived.
Kimberly's journey began in St. Petersburg, FL as a cherished daughter of the late Barbara Elizabeth (Burd) Harris and Josiah William Harris. She grew up surrounded by a bustling household of siblings who would become lifelong friends. Her sisters, Shana Payne (Darryl), Lynette Diemer (Teddy), Beth Ann Henson, and Kari Harris, and her brothers, Josiah "Kip" Harris (Crystal), John Harris (Tammy), Brandon Harris, and James "Bear" Harris, shared in the countless memories that painted Kimberly's life with warmth and affection.
Her role as a mother was where Kimberly truly shone. She raised her daughters, Candace Lusk and Courtney Ross, and her sons, Pernell and Jalil Ross, with an unwavering dedication that only a mother's love can provide. Her children will forever remember her as their guiding light, a beacon of strength and compassion that illuminated their paths.
Kimberly's legacy extends to her many grandchildren, who affectionately referred to her as “Granny”, nieces, nephews, and the extended family who were blessed to know her. She also leaves behind the love of her life for almost 40 years, William “Bill” Ross.
A woman of many interests, Kimberly found pleasure in the simple things. She often watched her favorite shows on HGTV or getting lost in the dramatic twists of her beloved soap operas. Her hands were rarely still, as she delighted in the challenge of a new level on Candy Crush or the familiar motions of cooking and baking for those she loved. And nothing quite compared to the contentment she felt while sipping on a Mtn. Dew or a Mug Rootbeer while eating Middlesworth BBQ chips.
A memorial service to honor Kimberly’s life will be held 6 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. A visitation will be held prior from 5 p.m. until the time of service on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the funeral home.
