Karen C. Crockett, 67, of Williamsport, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Edenbrook South.
Born December 13, 1957, in Passaic, NJ she was a daughter of the late John and Dorothea F. (McNeal) Crockett.
Karen was a graduate of Rutherford High School. She then furthered her education at Berkley Secretarial School and embarked on a fulfilling career as a secretary in the healthcare field.
Karen was an avid fan of soap operas, with "The Young and the Restless" and "Days of Our Lives" being her particular favorites. Her enthusiasm for sports was evident in her unwavering support for the Steelers, Giants, and the Lakers, especially her admiration for Kobe Bryant. Karen also took delight in giving herself manicures, a testament to her self-care and the grace with which she presented herself to the world.
Karen was a devoted mother to her son and light of her life, Evan J. Reed of Williamsport, and a Nana to her pumpkin, Harleigh Reed. Her sister, Glenna Crockett of Hackensack, NJ, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, will fondly remember Karen's love and the joy she brought into their lives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters Marsha and Aprile Crockett.
A memorial service to honor the life of Karen will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2025, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport. A visitation will be held prior from 1 p.m. until the time of service Friday, June 13, 2025, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
