John C. Winder

     John C. Winder, 67, of Linden, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 9, 2020, at his home.

    Born March 3, 1953 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Walter J. Winder and Bernice (Mahonski) Winder of Williamsport.

     John was a 1971 graduate of Williamsport High School and attended Millersville University. He retired from Plumbing Masters in 2019. John enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. Most of all John loved and cherished spending time with his granddaughter, Lola, who was the light of his life.

     Surviving are his children, Wyatt C. Winder (Amber) of Jersey Shore, and Kelsey R. Winder of  Williamsport; his granddaughter, Lola Rae Winder; three brothers, James Winder of Proctor, David Winder (Peggy) of Montgomery, and Richard Winder of Montoursville; three sisters, Lisa Thomas (Steve) of Salladasburg, Judy LaForme (Scott) of Loganton, and Tina Andrews (Terry) of Muncy, and several nieces and nephews.

     In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, William Winder.

    In keeping with his wishes services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
