Joan L. "Joanie" Campbell

Joan Louise "Joanie" Campbell, beloved wife, sister, and aunt, passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on March 30, 1942, in Williamsport, PA, to Sarah and Charles Hauser, Sr., Joanie lived a life filled with love, adventure, and joy.
Joanie’s passion for travel took her across the United States to beautiful destinations such as Hawaii and abroad to the stunning landscapes of New Zealand and Australia. She had an eye for fashion, particularly shoes and clothes, which brought her much delight. But above all, Joanie treasured her family and friends, always showing her deep care and affection.
Joanie is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Gayne Campbell. She also leaves behind her sister, Sarabelle Leuthner and her brother, Charles Hauser (Mary Ann); sister-in-law, Janet Babb (Tom) and brother-in-law, Larry Campbell (Veronica).
(Aunt) Joanie’s love extended to her nieces and nephews: Cheryl Bainbridge (John), Susan House, Diane Polansky (Steve), Chuck Hauser (Karen), Brian Leuthner (Tina), Keith Babb and Heather Gordon. Her grandnieces and grandnephews, who will forever remember her warm and loving spirit, are Justin and Cody Bainbridge, Ciarra Harer, Emily, Elizabeth and Evelyn Hauser, Logan House, Gabriella, Emma and Stanton Leuthner, Mikey and Stephen Polansky.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 100 Walnut Street, Montoursville, where friends and family are invited to celebrate her life and cherish the memories she leaves behind.
Joanie’s final resting place will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Montoursville.
