Jack C. Zwisle Jr.

Jack C. Zwisle Jr., 85, of Linden, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019.

Born August 11, 1934 in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Jack C., Sr. and Louise A. (Lachat) Zwisle.

Jack was a 1952 graduate of South Williamsport High School. After high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Jack began his career in news composing at the Muncy Luminary and GRIT Publishing and retired from Webb Communications. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed reading and time outdoors hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his three children, one daughter, Dina (Jeff Herron) of Washington DC, two sons John Zwisle (Lana) and Matthew Zwisle (Brenda) both of Linden, five grandchildren, Danielle Fink (Justin), Nathan Zwisle, Madison Zwisle, Brittany Naugle (Jeremy), and Carrie Simcox (Alex), three great-grandchildren, Maya Zwisle, Olivia and Sophia Fink.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by a grandson, Devon Liddic.

In keeping with his wishes, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
