Hugh Jeffrey Parsons, 59, of Liberty, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport.
Hugh was born on May 14, 1963 in Wynne, Arkansas to Hugh Parsons Jr. and Glenda (Brown) Parsons.
Hugh was a graduate of Bangor High School and a member of East Point Ebenezer United Methodist Church. He loved cooking, and worked as a chef for numerous institutions. Hugh also enjoyed motorcycling, Nascar, dirt track racing, the outdoors, going to the beach, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, going to amusement parks, and, most of all, spending time with his family.
Hugh is survived by his loving wife, Stacey Parsons; father, Hugh Parsons Jr.; children, Richard Hugh Parsons of Lock Haven, Chyanne Megan Parsons (Rob Dewire) of Williamsport, and Elizabeth Mae Miller (Zach) of Williamsport; siblings, John G. Parsons of California, Kristen Konz of Soberlin, Germany, and Heather J. Gazis (James) of Bowie; grandchildren, Bella, Khloe, Makaela, Gabriel, Aloric, and Dexter; Numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as Hugh’s beloved fur-babies, Tasha and Oakley.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Brown Parsons; brother Duane K. Parsons, and infant brother Dean.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Hugh’s honor on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at 44 Haleeka Rd., Cogan Station, PA 17728
