Hazel Ford Obituary

Hazel E. Ford, 98, of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, at the Williamsport Home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Jay A. Ford.

Born September 29, 1920, in Youngdale, she was a daughter of the late Charles B. and Dorothy P. (Stabley) Swinehart.

Surviving are her two children, Rodney J. Ford (Bonnie), of Cogan Station, and Dottie A. Frantz, of Williamsport; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Delores Peterson, of South Avis, and Calla-Mae Krupa, of Avis.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Carl Swinehart.

A graveside service to honor the life of Hazel will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Wildwood Cemetery.
