Harry E. Hare, 72, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Rose View Center. He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Lynn M. (Peters) Hare on December 17, 2021.

Born January 10, 1952, in New Castle, he was a son of the late Harry E. Hare and Mabel (Oliphant) Stephenson.

After graduation, Harry embarked on a career in law enforcement, serving as a police officer in Washington, D.C. for four years. Later, he continued to protect and serve as a security director at the former Lycoming Mall.

Harry was a member of the Greenview Alliance Church. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he lived it out with joy. Harry's life was one marked by dedication to his community, unwavering faith, and a quick-witted humor that endeared him to all who knew him.
