Geraldine J. "Geri" Seagrave

Geraldine J. “Geri” Seagrave, 87, of Williamsport passed away Monday, June 24, 2024 at Valley View Nursing Center. She was the loving wife of the late Robert A. Seagrave who preceded her in death in 2018.

Born November 4, 1936 in Levis, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Donat and Therese Samson.

Geri and her family came to America in 1952. She lived the majority of her life in Buffalo, NY, before retiring from Fisher Price Toys as an assistant supervisor. After retirement, Geri and her husband enjoyed traveling to different parts of the country, visiting family and attending VFW events. Geri and her husband spent 4 years in Mansfield, Ohio close to her daughter. She eventually settled in Williamsport to be closer to her son, after her husband’s passing. Geri enjoyed competing in bowling leagues, tending to her garden and house plants, entertaining her grandchildren and cooking for her family.

Surviving are her children, Robert D. “Bob” Seagrave of Williamsport and Michele M. Castle of AZ; sisters, Rolande McCrillis, Nicole Ertman and Huguette Sawicki; grandchildren, Thomas J. Lenahan III, Amanda M. Kenyon, Robert D. Seagrave, Jr., Erik A. Seagrave, Ryan A. Seagrave (Amanda) and two great grandchildren, Thomas and Connor.

Along with her parents and husband, Geri was also preceded in death by siblings, Donald Samson, Denis Samson and Rita McNally and son-in-law, Stephen M. Castle.

Services for Geri will be private and at the convenience of the family.
