Frances E. (Packer) Hudson

Frances E. Hudson, 74, of Williamsport, died peacefully, Thursday, March 5, 2020 at her home.

Born July 5, 1945 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Charles and Ann (Hammaker) Packer.

Fran attended Williamsport High School and had worked many years at Brodart. She was a member of Fairlawn Community Church. Fran enjoyed sewing, and being outdoors gardening and traveling. Her greatest joy in life was her family.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years Roy A. Hudson, three daughters Barbara Ann Hanner (Roger) of Williamsport, Lori Lynn Parker (Michael) of Williamsport, and Stacey Jo Michaels (Jarrod) of Berwick, four grandchildren Shayna Rovenolt (Jason), Jeramie Parker (Danielle) and Konner and Karter Michaels, three great grandchildren Jaisa Rovenolt, and Devon and Ronin Parker, and a sister Bonnie Davenport of Montoursville.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Marci Marie Hudson.

A funeral service to honor the life of Frances will be held 11 am Thursday, March 12 at Fairlawn Community Church, 353 Pleasant Hill Road Cogan Station with the Rev. Steve Cutter officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. Visitation will be held from 10-11 am Thursday at Fairlawn Community Church.
