Fern C. (Crist) Seitzer

    Fern C. Seitzer, 89, formerly of Williamsport, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at Page Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Fort Myers, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Frank R. Seitzer, on Feb. 1, 2003.
     Born Sept. 19, 1929, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Harold M. and Evelyn E. (Rote) Crist.
     Fern was a member of the Caloosahatchee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and FSSDAR Cameo Society.  She enjoyed playing cards and reading.
     Surviving are her children, Garry C. Seitzer and Deborah A. Wallace (Robert), both of Fort Myers, Fla; seven grandchildren, Todd Seitzer (Crissi), Brenda Seitzer Yanz (Sam), David Wallace, Christianne Wallace May (Jesse), Melissa Stoner, Andrew Seitzer, Adam Seitzer; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Richard Stoner, of Montoursville.
     In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Frank R. Seitzer II; a daughter, Sandra J. Stoner; a brother, Carl E. Crist; and a sister; Jean C. Brown.
     A funeral service to honor the life of Fern will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, with the Rev. Larry K. Waltz officiating.      Burial will follow at Jersey Shore Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
