Earl W. McKinley

Earl W. McKinley, 79, of Williamsport died Monday, December 11, 2023, at the Gatehouse.

Born November 12, 1944, in Renovo, he was a son of the late William R. McKinley and Martha B. Bower Miller and step son of John Miller.

Earl served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He was a driver for many years at Susquehanna Transit and retired from Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. Earl was a member of American Legion Post 1, Williamsport, V.F.W. Post 5859, Jersey Shore and the Korean War Veterans of Lycoming County.

Earl is survived by his daughters, Lesley Smith (Harvey) of South Williamsport and Mary McKinley (Adrian Heffley) of Williamsport; sisters, Elsie Warner of CT and Shirley Coup of Galeton; grandchildren, Brenna Richards, Trista Ramirez, Justin Seitzer, William Smith and 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Myrna McKinley, Annamae McKinley and Julia Isaac.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
