I was a patient of Dr. Welch for many years., in the late 60's and early 70's. He put my braces on and I wasn't happy but afterward I loved him when I saw my new smile! He was a really nice man and I am sorry to hear of his passing. May he be at peace,

Dear Kathy and family-  I just found out of Marshall's passing. Wish I could have been there to honor him. He was my best friend when we grew up. I have so many great memories of him. He will be missed. My sincere condolences. Connie.

Dear Mary and kids,

I just heard from my brother, Rick Heim, about Uncle Marshall's passing. You have my condolences and best wishes. Nothing pleased me more than to see the Welch name on the buildings at Lycoming College.

Kindedst regards,

Jim Heim

Dr. Welch was my orthodondist when my  family moved to Williamsport in 1958. I managed to break my braces more than most. I would try to eat something that was on the no no list. I remember I was 12 and headed to camp on a Sunday morning and I managed to break my braces that morning. My parents had to call him away from what he was doing to come fix my braces.
He was always so patient and understanding with me and I never have forgotten him.

Please know you have my deepest sympathy and many prayers.
