Doyle L. Horn

Doyle L. Horn, 89, of Cogan Station, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023, at his home. He was the loving husband of 34 years to Cindy L. Horn.

Born on May 10, 1934, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Donald P. and Martha E. (Delker) Horn. Doyle graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1952 and retired from Anchor/Darling Valve Company. In his spare time, Doyle enjoyed bowling in leagues at the Montoursville Lanes with the Alley Oops and Anchor Valve teams. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Doyle was a U.S. Army veteran, devoted Christian and member of Newberry Church of Christ.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Carl Horn, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Doyle was also preceded in death by his son, Randall A. Horn, and his brother, Ralph Horn.

Funeral services to honor the life of Doyle will be held 10 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2023, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. The family will receive friends prior from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy.
