Dorothy J. “Dot” Toner, 85, of Williamsport passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Manor Care Health Services.
Born November 25, 1933, in Beech Creek she was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Edith M. (Vaughn) Winslow.
Dot worked for Yoas Services and retired from Axeman-Anderson. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Historical Society and Divine Providence Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed crafts, cross-stitching, crocheting, knitting and learning about her genealogy.
Surviving is her daughter Phyllis A. Smith (David), of Cogan Station; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Douglass (Aaron), Angela Smith-Kishbaugh, Ashley Zielewicz (Dereck) and Matthew Smith; 8 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
A memorial service to honor the life of Dot will be held 10 a.m. Monday, December 2 at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Avenue, Williamsport. Burial will follow in Blanchard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Monday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
