Doris L. Calvert, 95, of Williamsport, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at WeCare at Loyalsock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, James E. “Jim” Calvert.
Born March 29, 1929, in Hepburnville, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Katherine (Blemly) Santschi.
Doris was a graduate of the Hepburn High School. She worked briefly at Clarks Farm Supply, Sunset Fabrics, and Wundies, but more importantly embraced her role as a homemaker with grace and dedication.

Doris's love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was unparalleled, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her fondness for engaging conversations was well-known, as she could often be found talking on the phone connecting with friends and family.
