Donald D. “Don” Redden, 86, of Cogan Station, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Geisinger in Danville.
Born on May 4, 1938, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Leslie Wade and Freeda (Barrett) Redden. After his time in the military, Don began a long and successful career as a pressman for the Lycoming Printing Company, retiring from Reed-Hann Litho Company in 2000. Don enjoyed gardening, especially growing tomatoes. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and liked to golf, never missing an opportunity to be in the great outdoors. Every Friday, he and a golfing buddy would drive around, scouting for deer and turkey. Don also enjoyed getting together for dinner with his friends, and was a devoted Christian.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 59, Velma (Day) Redden, and their son, Keith Redden.
Along with his parents, Don was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Mark “Stevie” Redden; a grandson, Dylan Redden, and a brother, Jack Redden.
