Donald Gunther Obituary

     Donald L. Gunther, of Williamsport, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport surrounded by his family. Surviving is his loving wife of 33 years, Beverly J. (Yorke) Gunther.

     Born in Laporte, he was a son of the late Howard Gunther and Mary E. (Phillips) Armes.

     Donald was a graduate of Sullivan County High School. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. Most of all Donald loved spending time with his family.

     Surviving in addition to his wife are his stepchildren, Brenda L. Wheeland, of Montoursville, Edward E. Brown, of Williamsport, and Jeffrey M. Hodge (Heather), of Florida; 10 step grandchildren; 12 step great-grandchildren; two brothers, and four sisters.

     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a stepson, Timothy N. Brown and two step granddaughters.

     In keeping with his wishes services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Donald's name to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
