Daryl Dunkleberger Obituary

Daryl Lee Dunkleberger, 66, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, at his residence in Williamsport.

Born on September 24, 1958, in Jersey Shore, he was a son of the late James M. and Norma L. (Riddell) Dunkleberger. Daryl's life was one marked by dedication, passion, and a love for the simple joys that life had to offer.

Daryl was a proud graduate of Jersey Shore High School, class of 1976. After graduation, he embarked on an industrial career that would eventually lead him to PMF Industries, where he retired as a skilled electropolishing technician.

Daryl's life was enriched by the love of his family and his belief in Christ. He is survived by his son, Brandon Dunkleberger, and daughter-in-law, Madalyn; his brother, James Dunkleberger, and sister-in-law, Cathy; his amazing grandchildren who called him “Pappy”, Jaxon, Maverick, and Jeweleen Dunkleberger, who brought immense joy and pride to his life. He also leaves behind nieces, Heather Houtz (Joseph Hamilton), Tonya Coleman, and Erin Hill (Brett); and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Beyond his family, Daryl had a passion for the world of billiards, and as a car enthusiast, he had a particular fondness for Mustangs. His love for music was evident to all who knew him, as he often strummed his guitar, creating melodies that reflected his soulful nature. Daryl will be immensely missed and his memory will carry on in all those who loved and knew him.
