Clemma Ann Klopp, 88, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully of natural causes on February 8, 2025, at Valley View Rehab and Nursing Center in Montoursville, PA.
Born on October 17, 1936, in Huntersville, PA, Clemma was the youngest of nine children born to Austin G. and Ella Virginia (Reeder) Young. She was a bright and loving soul, always close to her family. Clemma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Douglas Klopp, on February 5, 2022, after 37 years of marriage. Together, they shared a life filled with joy, love, and many cherished memories.
Clemma’s love extended to her stepchildren, Dawnielle M. Phil (John), Douglas A. Klopp II, and David W. Klopp (Jackie). She was preceded in death by her son, Joel Quinn, on September 14, 2023.
A proud graduate of Williamsport High School, Clemma worked at Valley Farms Dairy for over 45 years before retiring in 2014. She found joy and camaraderie through her work, and she was well known and loved by many in her community. She was an active and beloved member of Heshbon United Methodist Church, where her friendships flourished and her spirit shined.
Family was at the heart of everything Clemma did. She had a special bond with her brothers and sisters, and though many have passed, her love for them remains. Her only surviving sister is Alice Lee of Boise, Idaho. Clemma was preceded in death by her siblings: brothers Charles, Jim, and Archie Young; and sisters Ruby Montague, Stella Coles, Evelyn Huntzinger, and Gloria Hertz. Her love lives on through her many nieces and nephews-20 in all-who will forever hold her memory close.
Clemma had a special love for adventure. She treasured trips with her sisters to the beaches and New England, where laughter and love filled the air. She enjoyed playing the piano, attending concerts, and making memories with the people she loved. Her home on Kinley Road was a haven for family and friends, where outdoor adventures and warm gatherings took place.
However, nothing brought Clemma more joy than her family, particularly her grandchildren-Tara, Austin, Emma, Benjamin, May Eve, Arthur, Madison, Hayden, Ava, and Alyssa. As a grandmother and great-grandmother, she radiated love and affection. Her great-grandchildren-Seth, Juliet, Kyron, Jaxin, and Amara-were an endless source of joy for her. Christmas was a special time for Clemma, as she would lovingly prepare delicious meals and bake treats to share with her family, making the holiday season truly magical.
