C. Frederick Maeulen, 76, of Williamsport, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at home during a short illness.
He was born in Williamsport on Sept. 27, 1943, and was a son of Carl and Regina Maeulen.
Fred was a graduate of South Williamsport High School. He married his wife, Patricia (Shifflet) Maeulen, on June 21, 1975. Fred served in the Army National Guard. He worked for his father's company, Williamsport Mirror & Glass Co., for over 45 years and eventually became a co-owner with his brother before he retired.
Fred was a member of the Home Builders Association, Williamsport and Loyalsock Kiwanis, Harmonia Club, Williamsport Country Club, White Deer Golf Course and Hughesville Moose Lodge. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling in leagues.
Fred was a longtime dedicated faithful member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Williamsport, who was involved in many church activities, vestry member, Eucharistic minister and acolyte.
He is survived by his wife Patricia of almost 45 years of marriage; a son, Patrick Joseph; and a brother, James Maeulen (Susan) of Montoursville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Church, 844 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, with Rev. Kenneth E. Wagner-Pizza officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Please be safe and wear a mask and maintain social distance while at the church. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Green Lawn Memorial Park.
There will be another life celebration held at a later date.
