Bernadine H. Dangle

Bernadine H. Dangle, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, at the blessed age of 98. Born on September 7, 1927, in Williamsport, Bernadine was the only child of the late Howard Aderhold and Sadie (Hill) Aderhold.

Bernadine's life was a testament to her deep devotion to family and her passion for creating a nurturing home. She shared 60 beautiful years of marriage with her late husband, John A. Dangle, before his passing in 2008. Together, they built a legacy of love and warmth which continues to blossom through their children, Gary L. Dangle, Karen L. Dangle, and Sandy L. Ulrich (Ed).

Her talents as a great cook were the centerpiece of family gatherings, especially during the holidays, where her home was the heart of celebration. She also served a delight of cakes and candies, which she meticulously crafted for Christmas and Easter.

Bernadine found joy in collecting Longaberger Baskets, each one, a treasure carefully chosen and displayed. She was skilled at nurturing and growing flower gardens and created many beautiful floral arrangements that brought the allure of nature indoors. She also loved animals, and leaves behind her furry companion, Ruby Rayne Dangle.

Funeral services to honor Bernadine’s life will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home. A viewing will be held prior from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Thursday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bernadine’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, and/or the Lycoming SPCA 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
