Vivian W. Simmons

Vivian W. Simmons, 86, of Williamsport, and formerly of Freeport, Maine, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 4, 2018, with her family by her side.
Born June 6, 1932, in Freeport Maine, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Leta Stevens Ward.
Vivian retired as a registered nurse. She was a member of Buchanan Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Valerie (Lynn) Knower, of Williamsport, and David (Susan) Simmons, of Freeport, Maine; and three grandchildren, Rachel Knower, of Phoenix, Ariz., Phillip (Sarah) Knower of Wethersfield, Conn., and Kelcie Simmons of Lisbon, Maine.
A memorial service will be held in Maine at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
