Victoria M. Ditamore, 96, of Nisbet, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at AristaCare in Loyalsock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Alphius C. Ditamore Jr.
Born July 13, 1922, in Nisbet, she was a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Mazie E. (Sweeley) Ulrich.
Vickie was a devoted member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was involved in the Choir, helped in the nursery, taught Sunday school, and participated in Heart to Heart. She was employed at local daycares in the Williamsport Area for more than 14 years. Vickie enjoyed flowers and bird watching, especially hummingbirds and loved her family dearly.
Surviving are three children, Dennis W. (Antoinette) Ditamore, of Placito, New Mexico, Maureen Y. (Kenneth) Terry, of Jersey Shore, Kevin J. (Ayumi) Ditamore, of Kauai, Hawaii; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one nephew, Paul A. Ulrich; and two nieces, Sonja L. Day, and Sandra L. Luke.
In addition to her husband, Vickie was preceded in death by a brother, Paul L. Ulrich and a sister, Dorthea M. Rissel.
A funeral service to honor the life of Victoria will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 4, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Knight-Confer.
